Victor Mwangi

I'm Victor, from Kenya.  I am a self-taught artist and musician.  I grew up with art around me.  Yes, my uncle was a wood sculptor and owned a curio shop.  I helped him at the shop, where he made wildlife figurines.  

I enjoy teaching art, and working with others towards their own expression.  I have a program with children where we visit homes and spend time with them making art.  These experiences are exciting and have lead me to be eager for more opportunities to teach arts and crafts to kids.  Seeing them express themselves is a learning experience to me also, and I l enjoy learning and growing.

There is so much I love about living in my area of Kenya — the weather, mountain views and clean river water. I also love the nature and the plain fields of the Savannah.
